Party on a Tuesday (POAT) is Denver's application-only party for the people building Colorado's startup community, thrown every year during Colorado Startup Week. This year's Diamond Edition, produced by Denver Social Society, marks its 10th anniversary on September 15, 2026.

Ten years of PARTIES

It's that time of year again... "The Startup Party of the Year" is back.

Party on a Tuesday: The Diamond Edition is September 15th, taking over one of Downtown Denver's newest venues, open since October and yet to host a night quite like this one.

Some of the best introductions during Colorado Startup Week (formerly Denver Startup Week) have started at Party on a Tuesday. A bar conversation that became a partnership. A patio introduction that turned into something unexpected. And yes, even marriage. The rest takes care of itself.

Diamond Edition

Not a mixer. Not a panel afterparty. This year's Diamond Edition marks the tenth party and the largest gathering in the event's history: black and white, metallic chrome, and just enough crystal and shine to make ten years feel like the milestone it is. The dress code is Elevated Cocktail Attire with a modern disco twist, and the room is built to match.

‍ ‍The night unfolds across a brand new, 12,000-square-foot venue with multiple rooms, each with its own energy, a sound system built for the night, and an outdoor patio. It's the kind of space guests have taken to calling "The Startup Party of the Year," and this year it's earning that name at the biggest scale yet.

The Story

It started with two entrepreneurs new to Denver who wanted one thing: a community of great people, the kind they'd want to work with and just as much want to party with. So they invited a few dozen people over to an apartment complex, on a Tuesday, because it was the one night nothing else was happening.

The goal from that very first night never changed: everyone should leave saying it was one of the best parties they'd been to in Denver. What made it different was simple: a party that happened to be full of the people building Colorado's companies. That difference is why it worked, and why it's still working today.

Ten years of Tuesdays have added up to more than a good night out. Some people leave having made a friend. Others find a mentor, a collaborator, an investor, a client, a co-founder, or a future teammate. None of that is the goal exactly, it's what happens when you put the right people in a room and get out of the way.

Today the room fills by application, not for exclusivity but to protect that original promise: a space where everyone actually wants to be there. A decade in, it's the night Denver's startup community plans its September around, and the one people are still talking about at next year's Startup Week.
